Frequent Paddler Program

The Warm Rapids Inn Frequent Paddler Program provides river kayakers with an affordable opportunity to kayak various Vancouver Island rivers even if they don’t own their own gear. This program is ideal for beginner and intermediate paddlers wanting an opportunity to hone skills learned previously while also keeping fit and staying in tune with the exciting sport of whitewater kayaking. Guided river runs are safe and fun!

• Maintain and improve skills learned
• Explore new rivers with a knowledgeable instructor/guide
• Meet other paddlers who likely have similar interests
• Try different kayak designs for variety
• Use high quality, well maintained equipment
• Travel down rivers in groups where safety is our number one priority!

Here’s how it works:

• Paddle outings to be booked by advanced request
• Paddlers experience 3 – 5 hours of guided river paddling with instruction provided
• Participants must have previously taken at least one full day of kayak instruction with Warm Rapids Inn staff in order to be eligible for this program
• Eligible paddlers will be added to our Frequent Paddler Program list
• Trips begin and end at Warm Rapids Inn unless other arrangements are made
• Cancellation policy applies per our Kayaking Lesson & Tour Policies (see About The Inn - Reservations page)

How to take part:

• Phone, fax or e-mail the Warm Rapids Inn
• Confirm date you wish to paddle by cheque or credit card at time of booking
• Pay $60.00/day if you require kayak and equipment
• Pay $40.00/day with your own kayak and equipment*
• Sign Release of Liability/Waiver of Claims form prior to each outing

*Note: It is essential that all participants providing their own equipment bring the following: kayak with proper flotation bags, paddle, sprayskirt, PFD (lifejacket), wetsuit, paddling jacket, helmet, and booties. You may review our release form in advance here Release of Liability.
